There are few places more suited for a relaxing break than Northumberland. Spend idyllic days walking the hills and enjoying the vast rural expanses. Seek out the ancient treasures in the castles and ancient sites and monuments, or take part in a bewildering array of activities on an incredible and dynamic coastline. All of this is yours from the comfort and amenity provided by Ingram House, a beautiful 18th century former farmhouse situated between Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed, where the hospitality is warm and welcoming and accommodation comfortable and well appointed.

We offer a double room with ensuite bath at £80pn, a twin/double (king size bed) with ensuite bath at £85pn, and two single rooms with shared bathroom at £40pn each. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. WiFi is available.

A delicious Aga cooked breakfast is served in the family dining room. Dinner is also available by arrangement.

The house enjoys a wonderful setting, within the Breamish Valley in the Northumberland National Park. Hillwalking is a particular local pleasure and the Cheviots provide plenty of opportunities to don the walking boots. Some of the walks can be quite challenging but the stunning views when you complete them are a just reward. There are a great many other local and wider attractions and your hosts Adrian and Jane Levien will be happy to point you in the right direction for enjoying the best of them.

The Sandstone Way cycle route goes past our door so Ingram House is a perfect place to stop. We have plenty of secure storage for bikes and a good drying room for wet outdoor kit.
